Project Local Rootz (Day Twelve)

Day Twelve's Consumption

May 12, 2009.

Breakfast
Two Eggs Sunnyside down
Yukon Gold Hash
w/ chives, rosemary & shallots
rubykraut

Snack
Plain Sheep's Milk Yogurt
w/ honey

Lunch
Kraut Salad
w/ New Leaf Mesculin Mix
Olivias Garden Cucumber
& Tomatoes
Pea Shoots, rubykraut
goat cheese

Dinner
Maine Grain Tomato Soup
w/ rutabaga & parsnips

Day Twelve involved a busy schedule...which left only time for the basics. Breakfast and lunch remained consistent and fulfilling, and the early afternoon salad boosted the days energy. I had planned soup for the evening meal by soaking the beans all day in order to hasten cooking time. As an added bonus I added some roasted rutabaga and parsnips to add a bit more chunk to the soup .


Transportation included 28 miles bike commute.
