Dinner
 Grilled Spelt Tomato & Cheese

Yum... after running many errands and not wanting to kick up the grill or turn on the oven.  We decided on some quick grill cheeses and a side salad along with a handful of raw oysters I had picked up while purchasing our tuna the day before.  The grill cheese was fantastic with a mixture of Swallowtail Provolone, Sonnental Pepperjack & Tourmaline Chevre.  The mixture of cheeses along with a ripe sliced tomato from Olivia's Garden made for a wicked combination! Another wicked combination that we discovered today is the addition of the chive blossoms on top of the oysters... Highly Recommend !
Oh yeah the chive blossoms have been from both my rooftop and community plot. FYI

Breakfast
Plain Swallowtail Yogurt
w/ Honey

Lunch
Spicy Greens Salad

Dinner

Today was a sad day... Dean from Mother Oven made his last bread delivery.  He is moving on to become more of a bread making guru and less of a slave to his dedicated bread baking methods. He always had consistent results that proved just how good our local grains could taste !  I hope one day to link back up with Dean and build my own oven and learn the ancient bread making techniques that Mother Oven brought to our tables.  Thanks Dean

Todays dinner was a celebration of bread... spread with a layer of caldwell butter on the outside and my home made pesto on the other.  A handful of Sonnental Aroostook Mild Cheddar grilled on the cast iron... and a side salad.

I have stocked up my freezer with 8 various types of Mother Oven bread and will use it with care as long as supplies allow !
