Friday has finally come and I am very excited about this weekend... I finished a few artistic commissions this week leaving Saturday open for studio time as well as a much anticipated trip to the first ever Portland Maine Winter Farmers Market ! More on that in an upcoming post... Anyhow I wanted to celebrate with something quick, but a little more glamorous than the usual, got an hour to cook and eat... between me getting home from work and Cassi having to get to work... as you can see in the pics from today I usually end up cooking in my bike commuting clothes on Thurs. & Friday because I roll in the door around 2pm and I walk Cassi to work @ 3.15, leaving not much time for dilly dallying. Today I stopped over at Free Range Fish on my speedy return commute from Scarborough and purchase a couple fillets of Pollock and a few select oysters, after observing the harvest date as the day before... it made for a quick and satisfying meal which will sustain Cassi through another night of waiting tables and me to come home and work on updating the blog and preparing the studio for tomorrows painting marathon !
