Today was the beginning of a long stretch of rainy gray weather. It started with a great breakfast and the standard lunch... but on the way home I knew I needed a big dinner tonight because there was a hollow echo groaning from within... on the rainy bicycle commute home I decided to stop at Free Range Fish & Lobster to take advantage of the wonderful $3.99 /lb price on haddock. With a handful of heirloom potatoes and a bunch of Red Russian kale from Rippling Waters in the fridge... I knew we had the makings of something special. Special enough to make the extra effort to head over to the public market and pick up a nice bottle of vino to accompany the feast. Bartlett's Coastal White is always great with fish so that was the final selction to round off the perfect meal. Preperation time was only about a half hour and the end result left us stuffed beyond reason !

Transportation today included 30 miles on the bicycle...
