Early morning farmer's market run... WOW what a fruit day. Its started with a large bowl from Snell Farm that was marked as second for $15, seeing as my plan was 2 Quarts at $6 a piece... that looked like a bargain that may not last till I came back ! So I started my shopping by adding a heaping 5+ Quarts of strawberries and continued through the maze of farmers and belly growling consumers. For fruit I also picked up a container of Saskatoon Berries and Pie Cherries at Ocean House Farm. Over at Fishbowl I snagged beautiful Endive, Broccoli, Fennel & Kholrabi. Garlic Scapes, Snap Peas and Snow Peas from Rippling Waters as well as some Cauliflower from Green Spark !

I forgot to take out a loaf of mother oven bread from the freezer and when we were pinched for time in order for me tom get down to assists with the setting up we had to resort to other measures by running over to Aurora's and finding a suitable replacement... hence the rolls!

I had a busy morning preparing my records and gathering all my newly acquired prints in order to head down to Lincoln Park for the 4th Annual Radiance Festival. I will be selling prints on a street corner near you this summer just keep your eyes peeled for the LocalrootZ Banner !
